A lifelong Fresno resident with four decades of commitment to our community.
I grew up in Fresno — attending Gibson Elementary, Tenaya Middle School, and Bullard High School before earning my degree from Fresno State. My grandfather taught me the value of hard work and honesty on a dairy farm, and those values have shaped everything I've done since.
For more than four decades, my wife Libby — a retired Fresno schoolteacher beloved by her community — and I have built our life here. We've raised three wonderful daughters and are proud grandparents. We've watched this city grow and change, celebrated its successes, and felt its challenges firsthand. Fresno isn't just where we live — it's home.
As a small business owner, I understand what it takes to meet payroll, navigate regulations, and build something sustainable. I've seen how government decisions — good and bad — affect the people who live and work in District 2 every day.
I've been proud to serve this community through the years — as Past President of the Bullard Boosters, a former Rotary member, a member of DU and CWA, and as a Neighborhood Watch captain. These aren't just resume lines — they represent a lifetime of showing up for the people of District 2.
Now, I'm stepping forward to serve our community on the Fresno City Council because District 2 deserves practical leadership focused on results — not politics.

Libby didn't marry a politician. She married someone who believed in this community enough to build a life here and stay. She's been my partner in all of it — the business, the kids, the neighborhood meetings, the Booster club dinners. If you've lived in this part of Fresno for any length of time, there's a good chance she taught your children or your neighbors' children.
Our three daughters grew up in these neighborhoods. Our grandchildren are growing up here too. When I knock on a door in District 2, I'm not visiting. I'm home — and I want it to be as good for the next generation as it's been for ours.
